How to Use the Envirobase System

1. Prepare the surface by thoroughly cleaning it to remove any grease, wax, or dirt. This is the foundation of every successful paint job. Skipping this step may result in surface defects, blistering, or peeling.

2. Apply a compatible primer if necessary. The primer ensures adhesion and hides imperfections. For optimal results, use the GreyMatic system.

3. Mix the basecoat with the appropriate thinner according to the ratio specified in the technical data sheet. This step helps achieve the right consistency for spraying. Follow the recommended proportions carefully to maintain paint quality and achieve a flawless finish.

4. Apply the Envirobase High Performance paint in thin, even coats. Respect drying times between coats for the best outcome. Use a spray gun suitable for the paint’s viscosity, adjusting pressure and flow as recommended. Apply in steady, cross-pattern movements to ensure full coverage. Let the paint dry as per the technical data sheet, checking that the color and effect are uniform and as expected.

5. Finish with a clearcoat once the final coat of paint has dried. Apply a protective clearcoat for lasting gloss and added durability. Choose the clearcoat based on the desired level of shine, longevity, and resistance. Allow it to dry according to the product’s specifications, ensuring a smooth, even finish.
