How to Apply Standox Paint

To achieve a professional-quality finish, follow these key steps:

1. Prepare the surface: clean thoroughly, repair dents, and apply filler where necessary.

2. Spray application: apply one thin coat followed by one light “effect” coat using a spray gun.

3. Drying: allow sufficient time between coats until the surface reaches optimal dullness.

4. Polishing: once dry, buff the surface to achieve the desired gloss level (matte or high-shine).

5. Finish with clearcoat: apply a protective varnish to enhance durability and gloss.
