Spies Hecker primers offer several features:

Spies Hecker primers in spray

Primers in lacquer form have filling power. They fulfill three main functions:

• Provide a thick coating to fill small imperfections, minor scratches, and sanding marks, ensuring a high-quality base finish
• Offer resistance to stone chips thanks to their elasticity, preventing impacts from damaging the bodywork
• Create a hard layer, easy to sand, ideal for preparing a sound surface before spraying the paint layer

Their compositions

High filling power primers are generally two-component products, composed of:

• a primer
• an activator
• a thinner

The term "high filling power" refers to primers that can be mixed with thinners to obtain thick layers.

Etch primers

Etch primers generally do not require sanding. The 1K primer must be sprayed on the body surface before applying the paint layer.

• Usable directly on galvanized panels
• Contains an acid ensuring strong bonding with bare metal and excellent corrosion resistance
• Suitable for bare metals, plastics, fiberglass, and galvanized surfaces as well as over an existing primer to repair minor damage
