• 2K Acrylic primer.

• Prepare the target surface. Start with a thorough cleaning of the bodywork to prepare a dust- and dirt-free surface.
• Carefully clean the painting equipment to remove all unwanted particles. These can cause paint defects later.
• Dry sand the bodywork using a dust-extracting random orbital sander to obtain a homogeneous and imperfection-free surface (wet sanding can also be done).
• Seal sanding holes with a 1K primer to achieve a more uniform surface.
• Effectively clean sanding residues, especially using an anti-silicone thinner. This product is very effective at removing grease and silicones.
• Remove excess thinner with a clean, soft cloth.
• Filter the waterborne lacquer using a water-resistant filter.
• Choose a plastic container or a box with an inner coating for mixing.
• Create a viscous mixture according to the instructions on the corresponding technical data sheet, which defines the amount of paint and thinner to mix.
• Use the Permahyd Hi-TEC gauge to check the correct dosage of paint components. 
• Apply a first coat using a spray gun.
• Apply a second full coat, or the effect coat.
• Apply another coat using the wet-on-wet technique if the lacquer’s coverage power is very low.
• Wear personal protective equipment, such as goggles and a mask, to protect against paint toxicity.
• Wait for the coating to fully dull before applying the clear.
