Primers
Cromax offers several types of undercoats, such as primers, primer-surfacers, adhesion promoters, or non-sanding primers. They are designed to provide excellent adhesion, optimal protection, and ease of application.
Among these products, we can distinguish:
Non-sanding primers
They save time by eliminating the sanding step. They are available in three shades (white, gray, and black), and can be used on metal and plastic substrates.
Epoxy primers
They offer exceptional resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and impacts. They are ideal for difficult substrates, such as aluminum, galvanized metal, or plastic. They are available in two shades (gray and black), and can be applied in thin or thick layers. Example: EP591 Epoxy Primer.
2K primers
They provide good insulation, good adhesion, and good filling power. They are suitable for metal and plastic substrates, and can be easily sanded. They are available in several shades, and can be mixed together to achieve the optimal shade.
Cromax undercoat products are to be mixed with specific activators and thinners, according to the ratios indicated on the technical data sheets. They are to be applied with a gravity spray gun, according to the temperature of your working environment.
