How to Apply Glasurit Clear Coat

1. Allow the basecoat to dry completely, then clean the surface to remove sanding dust.

2. Mask off sensitive areas (chrome, glass, rims, etc.).

3. Mix the clear coat with the hardener and thinner as per manufacturer recommendations.

4. Use an HVLP or RP spray gun with a 1.3 mm nozzle. Set pressure to 2–3 bar (≈ 0.7 bar at the cap) for a consistent spray pattern.

5. Spray at 15–20 cm from the surface using cross-coats; allow 3 minutes flash-off between coats.

6. Once dry, lightly sand if needed, then polish with a buffer and suitable pad for a deep gloss.
