How to use the Lechler primer?

This primer is intended for bodywork professionals and automotive repairers. Application requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): paint suit, goggles, mask, and gloves.

Application process

• Surface preparation:
  • Polyester putty: sanding (grit paper), degreasing with anti-silicone thinner.
  • Steel or galvanized sheet: sanding and cleaning for anti-corrosion protection.
  • Plastic substrate: cleaning with a mixture of primer and plasticizer.
  • Old paint: complete cleaning.
• Gun adjustment: viscosity, nozzle diameter, pressure according to the technical sheet.
• Application: regular movements for a homogeneous finish.
• Drying: time indicated in the technical sheet before the second coat.
• Sanding: remove dust and deposits.
• Degreasing: remove excess product.
• Final cleaning: clean cloth before painting.
