The color Arctic Fire T4033 is part of the Envirobase High Performance range by PPG, designed for high-precision automotive finishes. Formulated with Xirallic® pigments, it ensures a spectacular pearlescent effect, in line with manufacturer standards.

Application

• Equipment: HVLP spray gun
• Nozzle: 1.2 – 1.3 mm
• Pressure: 2 – 2.2 bar

Application Method

1. Apply an even coat.
2. Allow to dry completely.
3. Apply a second coat.
4. Finish with a mist coat (except for solid colors).

Time Before Clear Coating: minimum 15 minutes – maximum 48h

Surface Preparation

• Sanding: P800 wet or P500 dry
• Degreasing: solvent cleaner PPG D837

Color Preparation

• Follow the manufacturer code and ratios on the PPG technical sheet.
• Filter the mixture with a 125μ cone to avoid impurities.

Application by Spray Gun

• HVLP Setting: nozzle 1.2 to 1.4 mm, pressure 2 to 2.5 bar

Application According to Surface

• Small Areas: 1 medium coat + light mist coats
• Large Areas: 2 normal coats + 1 light coat
