• Clear designation: Cromax VR-1120 ValueClear VOC (2K acrylic).
• Associated hardener: VR-1130 ValueActivator Fast – article ref. VR-1130 1.00 LI.
• Mixing ratio (vol.): 2:1 (VR-1120: VR-1130).
• Application viscosity (20 °C): DIN 4 ≈ 19–21 s (Ford 4 20–22 s; AFNOR 4 22–24 s).
• Coating process: 1.5 coats (1 light + 1 full); flash-off 0–3 min between coats, 5–10 min before oven.
• Dry film thickness (DFT): 50–65 µm.
• Drying (guide): oven 25 min × 60 °C (VR-1130); IR: 5 min half power then 15–20 min full power.
• Pot-life (20 °C): approx. 1 h 30 (VR-1130).
• VOC ready to use: 2004/42/IIB(d) ≤ 420 g/L.
• Recommended nozzles: Compliant 1.3–1.5 mm / HVLP 1.3–1.4 mm (pressures according to gun).

Application Method

1. Preparation: on Cromax waterborne base or activated Centari, well flashed and dust-free.
2. Mixing: 2:1 (VR-1120: VR-1130); homogenize. Never reincorporate an activated mix into the original pot.
3. Application: 1 light closed coat then 1 full coat (1.5 coats); flash-off 0–3 min between coats.
4. Drying: 25 min × 60 °C (VR-1130) or IR as per guide above. Recoating possible after "tape-free"; beyond 24 h, sand.
5. Finishing: polish after full curing if necessary.

Recommended Uses

Spot repairs, panels, and elements, with an advantage on short cycles. Also applicable in full if the working window suitable for the booth is respected.

Safety

• Professional use; comply with SDS/TDS. Hardeners sensitive to moisture: close immediately after use.
• Ventilation/PPE mandatory; do not apply on thermoplastic acrylic finishes.

In the fast version, the duo VR-1120 + VR-1130 reduces oven time to ~25 min at 60 °C, with an application of 1.5 coats and excellent polishability. Ideal for speeding up repairs without sacrificing the final appearance.
