Usage Instructions (General Guidelines)

1. Surface preparation: apply on a properly prepared, sanded, and degreased matte base. Follow Sikkens recommendations for the relevant base systems.
2. Mixing: mix Autoclear 2.0 clear with the appropriate hardener (and suitable thinner if necessary) following the ratios indicated in the Sikkens technical data sheet.
3. Application: generally apply 1.5 to 2 even coats, with an intermediate evaporation time adapted to the workshop temperature and thinner used.
4. Drying: carry out drying in the booth at the recommended temperature (e.g., 40 °C or 60 °C depending on configuration) until sufficiently cured for handling.
5. Finishing: after complete cooling, the clear can be lightly sanded and polished if necessary to remove any minor defects and optimize gloss.
