Applications

The application of a matte base for a two-coat finish is carried out according to these steps:

• Prepare the target surface by appropriate sanding and cleaning.
• Apply the necessary primer respecting the manufacturer's recommendations and drying times.
• Mix the base tint according to the recommended proportions.
• Adjust the spray input pressure and atomization pressure according to the technical data sheet.
• Spray the paint with a gun equipped with an HVLP cap and a 1.2 or 1.3 nozzle, depending on the gun.

The Cromax Pro base tints allow application in a wet-on-wet coat followed by a placement veil, a technique that optimizes time and product consumption:

• Apply a first closed coat generously wetting the surface up to 70-80% coverage in wet film.
• Apply an effect coat by increasing the distance between the gun and the surface.

Once the application is finished, apply the appropriate clears according to the product's technical specifications.
