Description

The PPG Envirobase High Performance system is an environmentally friendly water-based solution that allows faithful reproduction of vehicle colors to be repaired. This matte base offers excellent coverage and a glossy, durable finish. Its low VOC formulation meets current regulatory requirements.

Example of painting process - Step by step

1. Surface preparation: clean and degrease with the low VOC cleaner PPG D8401.
2. Sanding: use P500 abrasive paper for primers or original finishes.
3. Primer application: apply a primer compatible with waterborne bases according to PPG recommendations.
4. Color preparation: shake the Viola Fantasy can, mix with Thinner T494 depending on temperature.
5. Base application: apply a first coat, let dry, then apply a second coat. Use a placement mist if necessary.
6. Drying: let the base dry until a uniform matte appearance is obtained.
7. Clear application: apply a compatible PPG clear according to technical data sheets.
