R-M SC T2P204 – UNO HD Mat Black

SC T2P204 is a ready-to-use matte black color from the UNO HD eSense system (Pioneer Series). Designed as a factory pack, it offers easy application, consistent matte finish, and a clear process for durable matte finishes.

• Ready-to-use matte topcoat (UNO HD eSense): uniform and reproducible finish.
• 3:1:1 with hardener H 2P25 (medium) and thinner R 2P25 (medium).
• Application in 2 coats; pot-life approx. 2 h at 20 °C.
• Matte = specific process: no polishing or fade-out (apply the entire panel).

Technical Characteristics

• Range: Pioneer Series – eSense UNO HD ready mixed color.
• Appearance / shade: Matte black (noir mat).
• Mixing ratio (vol.): 3:1:1 (SC T2P204: H 2P25: R 2P25).
• Spray viscosity (20 °C): DIN 4 18–22 s; ISO 4 40–55 s.
• Pot-life (20 °C): ~2 h.
• Spray gun application:
  • HVLP: 2 bar (inlet), 0.7 bar at the cap, nozzle 1.3–1.5 mm.
  • Compliant: 2 bar, nozzle 1.3–1.4 mm.
• Coats: 2; flash-off to matte appearance between coats and before baking (10–15 min after 1st coat, 15–20 min after 2nd; do not exceed 25 min).
• Dry film thickness: 40–50 µm.
• Drying: 20 °C ≈ 8 h; 60 °C ≈ 30 min; short-wave IR ≈ 8 min.
• Solid content: 42%; storage 5–45 °C; Shelf life 36 months.
• VOC ready-to-use: ~700 g/L (EU limit cat. IIB(e) = 840 g/L).

Application Method

1. Preparation: substrates compliant with the system (compatible primers/finishes), dust-free and degreased.
2. Mixing: adhere to 3:1:1 with H 2P25 and R 2P25; homogenize.
3. Application: 2 coats; allow to matte (see times above); no “fade-out” on matte → paint the entire panel.
4. Drying: air, oven 60 °C or IR as per table; allow to cool then handle.
5. Important (matte): do not polish/buff (risk of gloss variation).

Safety

• Strictly professional use; comply with SDS and PPE (gloves, goggles, respiratory protection).
• Solvent-based and flammable product; ensure adequate ventilation.

The R-M SC T2P204 is the factory pack matte black from the UNO HD eSense system: simple 3:1:1 mix (H 2P25 / R 2P25), 2-coat process and fast drying (up to 30 min at 60 °C). To maintain a uniform matte finish, always apply the entire panel, without polishing or blending.
