The Scotch® 2328 masking tape is a lightly creped paper adhesive for general use, specifically designed for automotive repair. It withstands a single booth cycle up to 80°C and removes easily without leaving any residue.

Instructions for use

Preparation: carefully clean rubber seals (windows) and plastic moldings using a suitable degreaser to remove silicone and contaminants.
Thermal exposure: after heating and an overnight resting time, ensure the tape has returned to room temperature before removal to avoid any adhesive residue.
Tests & performance: for each substrate and treatment condition, perform application/exposure tests to validate optimal time and temperature.
Recommended parameters: maintain a temperature of 80 °C for 60 min for easy removal and clean edges.
