Usage Guide – Car Door Repair

Step 1: Surface Preparation

• Cleaning: Use a degreaser to remove dirt and contaminants
• Sanding: Sand the surface with a P320 abrasive to remove damaged paint and prepare the substrate

Step 2: Damage Repair

• Putty Application: Apply body putty if necessary, then sand with P400
• Primer: Apply a suitable primer (e.g., P565-5707), then sand with P600 after drying

Step 3: Color Application

• Mixing: Mix the P993-8972 color with the recommended thinner according to manufacturer ratios
• Sprayer Preparation: HVLP with 1.3 mm nozzle, pressure ~2 bars (30 psi)
• Application: 2 to 3 thin and even coats, allow 5 to 10 min drying between each coat
• Check: Verify the color under different lighting conditions

Step 4: Finishing
