VOC Compliance (cat. IIB.d): ≤ 420 g/L ready to use
Recommended Substrates: 2K sandable primers/undercoats Nexa Autocolor, or wet-on-wet 2K (excluding P565-668 and P565-777)
Substrate Preparation: steel and alloys (aluminum, galvanized…) according to Nexa procedure; plastics via Nexa plastics system; new cataphoresis → apply a 2K primer first; do not apply directly on P572-2000/2001
Mixing Preparation (opaque): P991 100 vol + P980-5000/5050 10 vol; up to 30% of P980-5000/5050 in high temperatures (> 30 °C)
Filtration: nylon filter 125–190 μm (do not filter at the gun)
Application: gravity feed nozzle 1.2–1.4 mm; single coats until opacity; allow to evaporate to matte between passes; booth 23–25 °C; Aquadry type air circulation possible
Before Clears: ensure complete drying and panel cooling; use only 2K Nexa clears (no 1K clears)
Cleaning & Storage: clean the gun with water then rinse with P980-5000; dry before storing; store protected from frost, > 5 °C
