Mixing ratios (by volume):

• Effect colors: 100:10

Recommended application:

• spraygun: HVLP

• Nozzle: 1.2 mm to 1.3 mm

• Spray pressure: 0.7 bar

• Method:

  • Standard application in 1.5 coats

  • Application on blends with Color Blend 8570 or 8580

Standoblue blend guide:

1. Apply the blend Color Blend 8570 in thin closed coats on the adjacent transition area without allowing flash-off.
   
   
2. Apply a matte basecoat Standoblue up to the edge of the blend area, then slightly extend over the transition zone.
   
   
3. Spray the color on the main (primed) area using the standard mode 1.5 coats.
   
   
4. After flash-off, apply a VOC-compliant clears, such as Standocryl VOC.
