Cromax VR-1120 – ValueClear VOC + VR-1129 (Very Fast)

In combination with VR-1129 Very Fast, the 2K clears VR-1120 allows for very short cycles while maintaining a clean finish and a beautiful gloss. This duo is ideal for touch-ups and parts when the booth is in demand and productivity is key.

• Express baking: drying reduced to approx. 20 min at 60–65 °C with VR-1129.
• Application 1.5 coat (1 light + 1 full) with very short flash-offs.
• Excellent vertical hold and polishability of VR-1120.
• Usable on Cromax Waterborne and activated Centari.

• Drying (guide): oven ≈ 20 min at 60–65 °C with VR-1129; IR possible depending on equipment.
• Nozzles / pressures: Compliant 1.3–1.4 mm (≈ 1.8–2.2 bar); HVLP 1.3–1.4 mm (≈ 0.7 bar at the cap).
• VOC ready to use: 2004/42/IIB(d) ≤ 420 g/L.

Application Method

1. Preparation: Cromax waterborne base or activated Centari, well flashed; old substrates sanded/degreased.
2. Mixing: 2:1 (VR-1120:VR-1129). Homogenize; do not reincorporate an activated mix into the pot.
3. Application: 1 closed light mist then 1 full coat; respect the short flash-offs.
4. Drying: oven ≈ 20 min at 60–65 °C (VR-1129); allow to cool before handling/polishing.

Uses & Tips

Recommended for spot repairs and panels with high throughput requirements.

Safety

• Professional use; comply with SDS/TDS. Activators are moisture-sensitive: close immediately after use.
• Ventilation & PPE mandatory; do not apply on thermoplastic acrylics.
