Instructions for use

  • Prepare the surface: clean with PK2000, sand to P400 grit, final degreasing
  • Filter the tint with 190 μm cone filters
  • Mix: 100% Onyx HD Base tint according to formula + 60% Hydromix
  • Apply with HVLP spray gun nozzle 1.4 - 1.5 mm, 0.7 bar pressure at the cap
  • Apply 2 thin coats followed by a metal placement veil
  • Allow evaporation between each coat and wait for complete matting before clearcoating
  • Clearcoat with RM Glossclear, Rapidclear or Everclear (glossy finish) or Silicatop / Satintop (matte or semi-matte finish)
  • Respect mixing ratios of clears/hardener/thinner and product temperature (18 to 25°C)
  • Ensure precise gun adjustment, avoid overloading to limit runs
  • Apply in a linear, regular manner at constant speed
  • Clean equipment immediately after use to prevent defects
