Usage Tips

1. Surface Preparation: before final sanding, ensure the surface is clean, dust-free, and that sanding with P1500–P2000 has been performed if necessary.
2. Moistening: use the disc slightly damp with water — never soak it.
   
3. Sanding: Perform at least 5 passes with approximately 50% overlap (manually or with an orbital sander equipped with a soft Hookit pad).
   
4. Inspection & Finishing: Check that scratches are removed and the surface is smooth. If needed, refine further, then proceed to polishing or varnishing (or use the 3M Perfect-It finishing system). :
5. Difficult Areas: For curved surfaces or complex areas, use a soft pad or interface pad for better adaptation.

Notes & Precautions

• Product intended for professional use or demanding tasks (bodywork, detailing, paint finishing).
  
• Always use wet — dry sanding not recommended — to avoid overheating and extend the disc's lifespan.
• Never soak the disc in water — only occasional moistening.
