Application and tips

• Carefully prepare the substrate before application to ensure a clean surface suitable for painting.
• PALINAL recommends using a mechanical mixer to prepare the ready-to-use product and ensure optimum quality.
• Mix 100 parts by weight of 103.9005 with 15 parts of PALINAL 115.0993 hardener.
• By volume, use a ratio of 100 parts primer to 18 parts hardener.
• If necessary, adjust the viscosity with 0 to 5% water by weight or 0 to 7% by volume.
• After catalysis, use the mixture within approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
• Do not use the product after the pot life has expired, even if no visible gelling has occurred.
• Aim for a dry film thickness of 40 to 60 µm, depending on the application system used.
• At 25 °C, the product is dust-dry after approximately 50 to 60 minutes and touch-dry after approximately 180 to 200 minutes.
• To speed up drying, PALINAL recommends oven-drying for 20 to 30 minutes between 50 and 90 °C.
