Application and advice

• Identify the type of plastic before starting the repair.
• Thoroughly clean the repair area to remove dirt, grease, and contaminants.
• Sand and prepare the surface in accordance with the 3M plastic repair process.
• For polyolefin plastics such as PP, PE, TPO, or EPDM, use 3M 05917 adhesion promoter before applying the glue.
• Install a 3M 04908 mixing nozzle on the cartridge.
• Dispense both components evenly before application to obtain a homogeneous mixture.
• Apply the adhesive to the repair area.
• Immediately shape or position the elements because the product cures very quickly.
• Allow to cure before carrying out finishing operations.
• After curing, sand the repair to achieve the desired shape.
