Usage Tips / Implementation

• Surface Preparation: Apply the base coat according to Oxelia/Ixelltech TDS, allow to matte, dust off, and degrease thoroughly
• Mixing: Prepare the clear with base, hardener, and thinner if necessary, then add the orange additive last and homogenize
• Application: Spray 1.5 even coats with a 2 min flash, aiming for 40–50 µm. Always test on a panel before applying to the vehicle
• Finishing: Cover with 1 to 2 coats of clear coat for chemical/UV protection and to achieve a durable gloss
• Choice of Hardener/Thinner:
  • 18–20 °C: X Fast for small areas, X Standard for medium/large
  • 21–25 °C: X Standard or X Retard depending on the area
  • 26–35 °C: X Retard recommended in all cases
  • Avoid X Fast above 19 °C to maintain the fluidity of the colored clear

Safety

• Use in a ventilated booth with appropriate protective equipment
• Mandatory wearing of nitrile gloves, glasses and eye protection, and A2/P3 mask
• Follow the precautions mentioned in the SDS (Safety Data Sheet)
• Store away from heat and in its original hermetically sealed packaging
