Description

Designed to tint 2K transparent clears, this Bordeaux red tinting ink provides a deep and uniform "candy" finish. Ideal for three-layer processes and high-end customization work, it ensures a consistent and durable color after applying a protective clear coat.

Technical Characteristics

  • Process: Compliant base coat, then colored clear

  • Recommended Equipment: SATA RP spraygun or Devilbiss TE20 Ø1.2 mm
  • Storage / Shelf Life: 5–30 °C – 36 months (closed container)

Settings & hardener/thinner choice

  • 18–20 °C: X Fast (small surface) or X Standard
  • 21–25 °C: X Standard or X Retard
  • 26–35 °C: X Retard (all surfaces)
  • Important: Avoid X Fast above 19 °C

Usage Tips

  • Preparation: apply the base coat, let it matte, dust off
  • Mixing: add the additive to the prepared clear, homogenize
  • Application: spray in fine passes, check on test panel
  • Finishing: cover with 1 to 2 coats of 2K clear

Safety

  • Wear PPE: nitrile gloves, goggles, A2/P3 mask
  • Use only in a ventilated booth
  • Refer to the SDS for specific precautions
