What is a polishing liquid?

Polishing is a key step in preparation and finishing in bodywork. A polishing liquid is applied after painting and before adding protective layers (wax, clears). It allows to:

• Smooth micro-scratches and irregularities;
• Restore the shine of oxidized or dull paint;
• Even out the surface before polishing and clear coating.

Why use it?

Over time, paint and clears undergo small impacts, oxidation, and atmospheric deposits, giving a dull and aged appearance. The polishing liquid:

• Gives the bodywork a "like new" effect;
• Eliminates surface imperfections;
• Prepares the surface for long-lasting protection.

Instructions for use

1. Preparation: clean and dry the surface with a microfiber towel.
2. Application: place a small amount of liquid on a foam pad or cloth, then spread in circular or linear motions until the product becomes almost transparent.
3. Polishing: use a clean microfiber cloth to remove residues, regularly folding the fabric to work on a clean area.

• Less is often more: a small amount is enough for an optimal result.
• Take care to clean joints and gaps to avoid residue buildup.
• Always read the technical data sheet from the manufacturer to respect drying times and product specifics.
