This new spray primer from the R-M Pioneer Series is formulated for demanding bodywork professionals. It ensures optimal adhesion on common metal and plastic surfaces while guaranteeing simple, quick application and a ready-to-paint finish.

Technical Characteristics

• Substrates: Steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, cataphoresis (e-coat), existing paint, GRP/SMC
• Pre-cleaning: PK 2P40 or PK 2P10 recommended
• Number of coats: 1 to 2
• Flash-off: approx. 15 minutes at 20°C
• Application: Spray – ready to use

Usage Tips

1. Preparation: Degrease the surface using PK 2P40 or PK 2P10. Sand if necessary.
2. Shaking: Shake the spray well for at least 2 minutes.
3. Application: Spray 1 to 2 cross coats at 20–30 cm from the substrate, respecting the flash-off time.
4. Drying: Wait approx. 15 minutes at 20°C before covering with a topcoat.

Recommended Use

Ideal for quick bodywork, localized touch-ups, and repairs on plastics and metals. Effectively replaces the old AM880 primer with more efficient eSense technology.
