Lesonal automotive clears available at ColorBox
The 2K Lesonal clears are two-component: they guarantee rapid hardening and excellent gloss when combined with a suitable hardener. They also offer a good evaporation time and facilitate polishing or repair operations.

For matte or satin finishes, Lesonal also offers:
- Multi Matt Clear Low Gloss (matte)
- Multi Matt Clear Semi Gloss (satin)
Why choose a Lesonal clear?
- Gloss and depth: a layer of transparent clear enhances the color and brings shine to the bodywork. Polishing can be done after drying to strengthen the glossy effect.
- Durability and protection: enriched with anti-UV agents, Lesonal clears protect the paint against fading, external aggressions, and micro-scratches. In case of defects, the clear layer can be corrected without reaching the base.
Tips for successful application of Lesonal automotive clear
1. Prepare the surface
A good result starts with a clean and well-prepared surface: sanding, cleaning, and dust removal are essential for good clear adhesion.
2. Control the temperature
Apply the clear in a room with stable temperature (ideally between 20 and 25°C), according to the technical data sheet recommendations.
3. Adjust the spray gun
Use a nozzle of appropriate size and adjust the air pressure according to the technical data sheet. The spray must allow fine, regular, and homogeneous atomization.
4. Avoid excess
Apply the clear uniformly, avoiding overloads, especially on vertical parts (doors, wings, pillars…). Too much or too little material compromises the final result.
5. Maintain a consistent gesture
The application must be linear, at constant speed and distance. Irregularity in the gesture can cause visible defects after drying.
6. Follow safety precautions
The clear is a chemical product requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment:
- Mask with solvent filter
- Nitrile gloves
- Protective clothing and shoes
