How to Apply Lechler Clearcoat
Specifically designed for professionals, Lechler clearcoats make final finishing straightforward. Key steps:

Clean and dry the surface thoroughly (use soapy water and degreaser).

Sand the surface to ensure proper adhesion.

Wipe away sanding residue with a clean cloth.
-
Check temperatures of the products, room, and surface before application.

Mix according to technical sheet specifications (clearcoat + hardener + optional thinner).

Apply two coats:

First: semi-wet
-
Second: full, according to the technical guidelines

Use a spray gun nozzle between 1.2 and 1.3 mm for even spraying.

Maintain a steady, consistent motion at the correct distance.

Let the clearcoat dry based on ambient temperature and the hardener type.

If compatible, up to 5% of the thinner can be replaced by an accelerator to reduce drying time.
