Application advice

• Preparation: Thoroughly degrease the substrate before and after each sanding operation with a suitable PPG cleaner.
• Sanding before 2K high-build primer: P280 to P320 wet or dry, P400 on fibreglass, or P220 to P280 for dry machine sanding.
• Sanding before direct topcoat application: P800 wet or dry, or P360 for dry machine sanding.
• Preparing the spray can: Shake the can for approximately 2 minutes, until the metal mixing balls can be heard.
• Application: Spray from a distance of 15 to 20 cm and apply 2 single coats.
• Flash-off: Allow 3 to 5 minutes between coats.
• Recoating: At 20 °C, wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on film thickness, before applying the topcoat.
• Sanding: Sanding after application is normally not required before recoating with a compatible system.
