The LESONAL HS Hardener 420 1L - Ref. 523469 hardener is a hardener based on polyisocyanate resins, specially designed for LESONAL two-component paint and clears systems. It hardens compatible products and helps achieve a durable, resistant finish in automotive bodywork.

Compatible in particular with LESONAL 2K HS Premium Clear 420 and 2K HS Fast Clear 420 clears, as well as Topcoat HS 420, it is suitable for professional automotive repair and finishing work. Supplied in a 1-liter can, it must be used in accordance with the mixing ratios specified for each system.

Instructions for use

• Surface preparation: Thoroughly clean the bodywork with a suitable degreaser to remove dust, grease, and contaminants. Prepare the substrate in accordance with the recommendations for the LESONAL product being used.
• Preparing the mixture: Precisely measure the HS Hardener 420 and the associated product, following the mixing ratio specified in its technical data sheet.
• Mixing ratio with 2K HS Premium Clear 420: Mix 5 parts clear, 3 parts HS Hardener 420, and 1 part Reducer Clear 420, Thinner HT, or Accelerator, as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Mixing: Use a clean container and a suitable mixing stick. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is homogeneous.
• Application: Apply the mixture with a suitable spray gun in a properly ventilated spray booth, following the parameters for the paint system being used.
• Drying time: Follow the flash-off and drying times specified in the technical data sheet for the associated clear or paint. These parameters vary depending on the product, temperature, and application conditions.
• Finishing: Once fully cured, carry out any finishing or polishing operations in accordance with LESONAL recommendations.

• Personal protective equipment: Wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles, and suitable protective clothing. Use appropriate supplied-air respiratory protection during operations that pose an exposure risk.
• Ventilation: Handle and apply only in a professional environment with adequate ventilation.
