EXTRA GOLD is a two-component multifunction polyester putty designed to fill holes and imperfections on most surfaces. Formulated for professionals, it combines excellent filling capabilities with ease of application and sanding. Ideal for small to medium repairs.

Surface Preparation

For best results, proper preparation is essential:

• Clean and degrease to remove dirt, oil, grease, and wax with a suitable degreaser (e.g., S2001 or S2002)
• Sand the surface with P180 abrasive paper
• Clean and dry the sanded surface before application

Application

• Mix well on an Onion Board type palette
• Follow the recommended hardener proportions
• Apply with pressure to avoid air bubbles
• Recommended application temperature: above 5°C
• Air drying time: 20 minutes
• For a perfect finish, a U-POL finishing putty like DOLPHIN GLAZE can be used to correct porosities and micro-scratches

Personal Protective Equipment

It is essential to wear appropriate PPE during application:

• 3M reusable paint suit (50425L) or disposable (50198L)
• FFP3 respirator mask (e.g., 3M 06942)
• Nitrile gloves

These protections help prevent skin and eye irritation from contact with the product.
