  • Consistent cutting: the ceramic grains wear gradually and evenly for a uniform finish.
  • Optimized dust extraction: the Cyclonic perforation is specially designed to improve dust extraction during sanding.
  • Precise laser cutting: produces a flatter disc, increases the usable abrasive area, and optimizes dust extraction.
  • Easy identification: the red color code lets the bodywork technician quickly identify the putty finishing stage.
  • Quick changes: the Self-Grip hook-and-loop backing makes it easy to fit and replace the disc on the backing pad.

Recommended applications

  • Finishing polyester putty in automotive bodywork.
  • Removing scratches left by the previous putty sanding stage.
  • Blending the repaired area before applying primer.
  • Sanding the transition between the putty and the surrounding surface.
  • Preparing automotive repairs before moving on to the primer sanding stage.

Application and tips

  • Use the red disc after leveling and shaping the putty.
  • Fit the disc to a 150 mm Multi-Air backing pad compatible with Cyclonic perforation.
  • For best results with the Multi-Air Cyclonic design, use an orbital sander connected to a dust extraction system.
  • Align the disc perforations with those on the backing pad to optimize dust extraction.
  • Sand evenly without applying excessive pressure to maintain a uniform finish.
  • Check that the coarser sanding scratches have been removed before continuing the preparation process.
  • After using the red disc, continue the Cyclonic process with the disc intended for primer sanding, after the primer has been applied and dried.
