Technical Specifications Spraygun JET X Digital Read RP 1.3 I
- Reference: SATA JET X Digital Read – nozzle I 1.3
- Type: gravity feed RP (Reduced Pressure) spraygun for waterborne/solvent-based bases and HS/MS clears
- Nozzle / needle: stainless steel Ø 1.3 mm – compact spray with sharp edges
- Air cap: high precision machined alloy, consistent flow without pulsations
- Weight: 430 g (600 g with holder 0.6 l)
- Recommended inlet pressure: 2.0 bar (29 psi) – 1.7 bar at the cap
- Air consumption: 335 l/min at 2 bar (≈ 11.8 cfm)
- Digital gauge: pressure display (bar/psi), ambient temperature, usage time, alert ±0.2 bar
- Air connection: rotary ¼″ NPS – Quick Adam Connector
- Integrated adjustments: product flow, spray width, micrometric air pressure
- Substrate compatibility: steel, aluminum, primed plastics, sanded old paints
- Resistance: anodized aluminum body, stainless steel fluid parts, solvent-resistant seals
Properties and Advantages
- Homogeneous "I" pattern: perfect finish on metallic and pearlescent bases
- High RP transfer: reduced overspray, product savings
- Integrated digital gauge: instant adjustment, parameter traceability
- Reduced weight and ergonomic handle: minimal fatigue during prolonged applications
- Simplified maintenance: fewer spare parts, quick disassembly without tools
Recommended Applications
- Spraying of waterborne or solvent-based bases, intermediate coats, and HS/MS clears
- Spot-repair work or full panels in a pressurized booth
- Accurate reproduction of metallic/pearlescent effects on steel/aluminum sheets and primed plastics
Instructions for Use
- Surface preparation: sanding P400–P600, silicone-free degreasing.
- Product preparation: mix, adjust viscosity (TDS), filter 125 µm.
- Initial settings: pressure 2 bar, product flow 1.5 turns, wide spray.
- Application: distance 17 cm, cross passes (50% overlap).
- Digital control: check pressure reading; adjust ±0.1 bar if needed.
- Flash-off: follow paint sheet (≈ 5 min base / 10 min clears at 20 °C).
- Drying: 15 min base; clears 30 min at 60 °C according to process.
- Cleaning: purge circuit, rinse with suitable solvent, blow dry, lubricate seals.
