The Standocryl K9590 clear is a highly efficient professional 2K solution, designed for quick application in 2 coats with a short intermediate flash time. Thanks to its balanced formulation, it ensures high gloss, vertical stability, and fast drying, ideal for high productivity workshops.

• Viscosity (DIN 4): 14–16 s at 20 °C
• Spraygun / nozzles: HVLP 0.7 bar – 1.2/1.3 mm; Compliant 1.8–2.0 bar – 1.2/1.3 mm
• Dry thickness: 50–60 µm
• Air drying (20 °C): 12–16 h
• Oven drying: 60 °C – 15 to 20 min | 40–45 °C – 30 to 35 min
• IR drying: 2 min half power + 8 min full

Usage Instructions

1. Prepare the substrates: well-degreased and dry base (Standoblue / Standohyd), sanded/degreased old clears
2. Mixing: 2:1 with VOC Hardener 15-30 + 10% Additive 5870 or according to conditions
3. Application: 2 regular coats with 2–5 min intermediate flash; wait 5 min before IR drying
4. Drying: according to available temperature (oven or ambient air)
5. Blending: use blender 5730 for edge to edge repair

Important Notes

• Do not matt this clear
• Use an elasticized primer for plastic substrates – no elastic additive needed in the clear
• Do not return an activated mix to its original container
• Close the hardeners quickly – sensitive to moisture
