Tips for applying your paint

- Then, for a beautiful finish, fill the damaged element and degrease it using a suitable sponge.
- The third part consists of applying your paint. Once the surface is repaired, cleaned, degreased, and filled, start spraying your paint. Of course, choose the shade that matches your need: The applied paint must be the same as the vehicle's color to avoid an aesthetically heterogeneous result.
- Finally, apply a finish like a clear or another. Do not forget to polish the finish or use a polishing cream for a shiny result, according to your preferences.
The paint spraying is done with the help of a spray gun with an HVLP cap and a 1.2 or 1.3 nozzle. Choose a Satajet X5500 spray gun like reference 1061887. The number of coats depends on each manufacturer. With Max Meyer, you will need to apply 2 wet coats and 1 mist coat. You must therefore read the technical sheet of your product before starting. Additionally, you must wait some time between coats. But do not worry, the waiting time is minimal thanks to Max Meyer products known for their fast drying.
