Substrate Preparation

3. Sand with P600–P800 then finish with Scotch Brite 3M P1000 sponge.

Painting Process

1. Clean the surface with Ixell H2O.
2. Prepare the shade according to the Ixell formula (software).
3. Shake the cans before dosing to homogenize pigments and pearls.
4. Use an HVLP gun with a 1.2 or 1.3 mm nozzle (e.g., Devilbiss DVI, Satajet X5500).
5. Apply 2 wet coats + 1 mist coat.
6. Pass through an oven for drying before clear coating.
