Instructions for use

• Surface preparation :
  • Sanding of old paint or original paint
  • Degreasing with Standox Precleaner TB50
  • Sanding of primer with P500 grit by machine or P800 manually
  • Final cleaning with solvent-based degreaser such as Precleaner
• Product preparation :
  • Filter the paint with a 125 µm cone
  • Respect the recommended dilution with 8000 water
• Application :
  • Use an HVLP gun with 1.3 to 1.4 mm nozzle
  • Input pressure 1.7 to 2 bars, output pressure 0.7 bar
  • Apply two wet coats followed by a placement mist
  • First coat uniform and closed, final mist with gun pulled back to direct the effect
• Drying :
  • Let dry until complete mattness is obtained
• Finishing :
  • Finish sanding with P800 grit using a pneumatic sander with 2.5 mm orbit if necessary
  • Apply compatible Standox clear to finalize the repair
• Personal protection :
  • Use paint suit, FFP3 respirator mask and nitrile gloves
