Instructions for use
-
Surface preparation :
- Properly sand the old paint or original paint
- Degrease with Standox Precleaner TB50
- Sand the primer surfacer with P500 (machine) or P800 (manual)
- Wet-on-wet option possible with unsanded primer
- Finish with P800 using a 2.5 mm orbit pneumatic sander to avoid marks
- Clean and degrease before application

Product preparation :
- Filter the paint with a 125 µm cone
- Respect dilution with 8000 water according to recommendations

Application :
- Use an HVLP gun with 1.3 mm or 1.4 mm nozzle
- Input pressure: 1.7 to 2 bars
- Nozzle output pressure: 0.7 bar
- Apply 2 wet coats then a placement mist to perfect the metallic effect
- First coat uniform and closed
- Step back for the second coat to position the effect and ensure proper tint orientation
- Let dry until a matte finish is obtained
- Finishing : Apply the appropriate Standox clear after complete drying
- Personal protection : Wear coverall, FFP3 mask, nitrile gloves and appropriate equipment
