Application

Follow these steps for a successful application of the U-POL scratch-resistant clears:

• Prepare the target surface. At this stage, degrease the surface using a U-POL degreaser S2001 or S2002 and let dry.
• Sand the surface wet with P800-1000 or dry with P600-800.
• Degrease again using System 20 degreasers.
• Apply the U-POL clears using the 2-coat technique and an HVLP spray gun with a 1.2 to 1.8 nozzle.
• Use a wiping pad to clean the surface of dust and application residues.

It is relevant to emphasize that U-POL acrylic clears are strictly intended for professional use. To ensure safe application of these products, it is important to protect yourself with the proper personal protective equipment, such as a reusable 3M 50425L paint suit or disposable 50198L, an FFP3 respirator mask, and nitrile gloves.
