Description

The PM 2A34 is a 1K spray primer designed for quick protection of sand-throughs (bare sanding areas) or for use as a primer/filler. Ready to use, it ensures excellent adhesion, good anticorrosion protection, and easily integrates into fast local repair cycles.

Technical Characteristics

• Compatible substrates: steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, e-coat, GRP/SMC, old paints.
• Pre-cleaning: degreasing with PK 1A15 or PK 2A15 recommended.
• Application:
  • As a primer: 3–4 coats for 30–40 µm, 5 min flash-off between layers.
  • As sand-through: 1 thin coat (10–15 µm) on bare area, dry sanding P800.
• Drying: 20 °C ≈ 1.5–2 h · 60 °C ≈ 30 min · IR ≈ 5 min at 50% intensity.
• Storage: 5–45 °C · Shelf life: 36 months (unopened packaging).
• VOC: ≈ 695 g/L (compliant with EU limit cat. B/e – 840 g/L max).

Usage Tips

1. Thoroughly degrease the surface with PK 1A15 or 2A15.
2. Shake the spray vigorously for 2 min.
3. Apply according to use: as a primer or touch-up (sand-through).
4. Allow to dry before recoating or sanding.
