Instructions for Use
- Prepare the paint gun: ensure that the 3M paint gun 26778 is clean and in good working condition and that the nozzle is installed on the gun.
- Prepare the paint: shake the paint well before use to mix the pigments.
- Prepare the surface: it is essential to check that the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free of any dirt, grease, or rust.
- Apply the paint: hold the paint gun at the recommended distance from the surface to be painted, usually between 15 and 20 centimeters, and pull the trigger to start spraying. Likewise, it is recommended to move the gun regularly to achieve an even coverage.
- Let the paint dry: allow the first coat to dry for the recommended time (about 15 minutes). Then, apply a second coat if necessary to achieve complete and even coverage.
- Clean the gun: after finishing spraying, empty any excess paint from the gun. Then, disassemble the removable parts of the gun, including the nozzle, and clean them with warm water to remove paint residues.
- Replace disposable nozzles: replace the disposable nozzles supplied with the product after reaching the recommended number of uses (usually 10 to 20 uses).
Tips and Tricks
- Air pressure: The air pressure supplied to the paint gun has a direct impact on the quality of spraying. Too high pressure can cause excessive spraying, while too low pressure can result in poor coverage.
- Product storage: after use, properly store the paint gun and nozzles. Protect them from dust, dirt, and moisture to avoid any deterioration.
