Instructions for use

  • Prepare the surface: cleaning with PK2000, sanding with P400 grit, final degreasing
  • Mix 100% Onyx HD Base tint according to formula + 60% Hydromix by volume
  • Filter using 190 μm cone filters
  • Apply with HVLP spray gun nozzle 1.4 – 1.5 mm, pressure 0.7 bar at the cap
  • Apply 2 coats followed by a metal placement mist if necessary
  • Allow solvents to evaporate between coats and wait for complete matting
  • Must be covered with a suitable clear: Glossclear, Rapidclear, Everclear for glossy finish or Silicatop, Satintop for matte or semi-matte finish
  • Respect mixing ratios of clears/hardener/thinner and product temperature (18 to 25°C)
  • Check gun settings according to viscosity, apply evenly, avoid overloading
  • Clean equipment carefully after use to prevent residues and defects
