Recommended applications

- Anti-corrosion protection during spot welding (tested SAE J 2334)
Instructions for use
- Sand the area to be treated with a 3M ScotchBrite™ abrasive ref. 07447
- Clean the surface with a degreaser compliant with VOC legislation (avoid alcohol-based solvents)
- Pierce the cartridge tip, remove the metal seal, and install the mixing nozzle
- Place the cartridge in a 3M™ extruder gun (ref. 08990 or 08013)
- Cut the nozzle to the desired diameter
- Apply the putty, smooth if necessary, do not use alcohol for cleaning
- Delay before painting: minimum 30 minutes for a 6 mm bead at 21°C and 50% humidity
- Longer delay if less favorable conditions or thicker bead
