Dosage: start very low (1–3%) and gradually increase; do not exceed the maximum rate indicated in the TDS of the clear.
Recommended background: uniform metallic base (silver/gold/copper) or pearlescent to enhance the candy/tinted effect; avoid heterogeneous backgrounds.
Application: spray 2–5 even coats of tinted clear, in cross passes and with a constant distance/speed to prevent clouding and banding.
Protection: finish with 1–2 coats of 2K clear coat to seal the tint and facilitate polishing.
Tests: perform a spray-out to validate the dosage and number of coats before the part.
Precautions: do not apply on non-isolated substrates (1K putty, sensitive backgrounds); strictly adhere to evaporation and overcoating times.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Preparation

• Bring the bottle to room temperature (18–25°C)
• Prepare the surface to be painted: sanding (e.g., Abranet P1000), cleaning
• Apply the matte base according to the manufacturer's instructions, allow to flash off

Blended Edge with Tinted Clear

1. Prepare two mixtures: one tinted clear (with AM950) and one untinted clear
2. Apply a first coat of tinted clear on the repaired area, extending into the adjacent element
3. Then apply a coat of untinted clear on the larger part of the adjacent element, blending into the tinted clear. Allow to flash off
4. Apply a second coat of tinted clear on the repaired area, extending slightly
5. Apply the second coat of untinted clear on the rest of the adjacent element
6. Apply a final coat of untinted clear over the entire blended area to facilitate subsequent polishing
