These sanding marks are recognized when the machine used is not suitable for finishing work. Spray two coats of paint with intermediate and final flash-off until matting. Always check the technical data sheet that Axalta provides before starting. Choose quality personal protection before starting to paint. An FFP3 mask such as 3M 06942 as well as a 3M 50198 painting suit, nitrile gloves are essential. We wish you great results!

• Product characteristics:
• Allows obtaining coverage with a thin film thickness (10-20 μ).
• Suitable for multi-tone paints and design.
• Surface preparation:
• Surfaces must be properly prepared and cleaned before application. Use a solvent-based degreasing cleaner 3919S to remove residues and dust.
• Sand your Primer or Primer surfacer with P500 grit
• The areas to be repaired must be sanded with P500-P600 using a 5mm eccentric orbital sander, then or with a 2.5mm orbit finishing sander starting from sanding grit P800-P1000 to avoid "pig tails"
• The painting process:
• Choose the appropriate gun, namely HVLP cap with 1.3 or 1.4 nozzle. Check what the paint manufacturer recommends.
• Your air flow must be set to 0.7 bar at the gun nozzle outlet and between 1.8 bar and 2.0 bar at the air pressure gauge at the gun inlet.
• The choice of thinner to mix with your auto body painting is very important: the standard thinner XB383 for temperatures up to 25° or the XB387 for temperatures between 25° and 30°
