Available grits

PROCUT Microfinishing

The RUPES PROCUT Microfinish discs allow you to work precisely on small areas without unnecessarily sanding a larger surface. Their 35 mm diameter is particularly well suited to spot corrections made after painting.

The P2000 grit corrects localized defects, while P3000 refines the scratch left by the previous step to reduce the work required during polishing.

Directions for use

• Precisely identify the defect to be corrected before starting micro-sanding.
• Use P2000 to remove or level minor surface imperfections.
• Continue with P3000 to refine scratches and prepare the surface for polishing.
• Work with light, even pressure to control material removal.
• Check the area regularly to avoid sanding the clear coat excessively.
• Finish with an appropriate polishing cycle to restore the surface gloss.
• Wear suitable PPE during sanding and finishing operations.
