Instructions for use

Surface preparation

• Degreasing with Cromax 3911WB
• Sanding the primer with an orbital sander (5 mm eccentricity) up to P500 grit
• Finishing with P800 (2.5 mm sander) to avoid "orange peel"
• Final cleaning with solvent-based degreaser such as Prepsol 3919S
• Mandatory filtration through 125µ cone before application

Mixing and dilution

• Use binder 1640WB or 1650WB depending on ambient humidity
• Possible addition of up to 10% thinner WB400 in hot weather

Application

• spraygun HVLP with 1.3 or 1.4 nozzle
• Input pressure: 1.7 to 2 bar / Atomization: 0.7 bar
• 2 wet coats + 1 mist coat for effect colors
• Wait for complete matte before applying clears

Finishing

• Application of a standard or fast clear such as CC6750
• Add 2% catalyst AR7505W if fast-drying or air-drying clear
• Do not use Cromax Basecoat Blender for dark colors

Safety instructions

• Wear paint suit, FFP3 mask, nitrile gloves
• Work in a booth or ventilated area
• Follow the safety instructions indicated on the technical data sheet
