Recommended applications

• Body repair on old paints or sanded original paints
• Use in two-coat finishing with placement coat for metallic and pearlescent
• Compatible with the wet-on-wet blending technique for perfect transitions

Instructions for use

• Preparation: Clean, degrease, sand between P500 and P1000 depending on the steps
• Filter the paint before application (cone filter 125µ)
• Respect dilution with binders 1640WB or 1650WB depending on humidity
• Wear full personal protective equipment (coverall, FFP3 mask, gloves)
• Use a gun with HVLP cap, 1.3 or 1.4 nozzle, inlet pressure 1.7-2 bar, atomization 0.7 bar
• Apply in 2 wet coats + 1 placement coat for metallic/pearlescent
• Let dry until a fully matte finish is obtained
• For fast-drying or air-drying clears (e.g. CC6750), catalyze the base with 2% catalyst AR7505W
• The Cromax Basecoat Blender is not suitable for dark tints
