The 1-380 1K UV Primer is a single-component surfacing primer, light gray, with ultraviolet curing, specially designed for fast repairs in automotive finishes. It offers excellent performance in terms of sanding and UV drying, while being fully compatible with all DeBeer finishes. This product was developed to optimize and speed up your repair processes.

• Aluminum, steel (bare or galvanized), reinforced polyester (SMC/CVR), OEM systems, sanded original paints

• Common automotive plastics (except pure PE and PP) with 1-60 plastic primer

Application

• Ready to use (shake well before use)
• spraygun :
  • HVLP: 1.2 mm nozzle / 2 bar
  • High efficiency: 1.2 – 1.4 mm / 2 bar
• Application : 2 coats at 15 cm (100–115 μm)
• Flash-off between coats : 2 minutes
• Do not try to fully cover
• UV drying : 90 seconds with UV-LED lamp (395 nm)

Surface preparation

1. Degrease with 1-951 Silicone Remover
2. Sanding (P500–P600)
3. Vacuum dust, then degrease again
