What are ColorBox PPS disposable paint cups?
We present in this category a wide range of 3M certified PPS, which includes a great variety of graduated holders and disposable paint cups for professionals. These items consist of a low-density polyethylene cup, a polypropylene (PP) lid, and a Nylon filter. Choose the right filter micron rating depending on the stage of your repair and the brand of products you use.
For RM and Glasurit paint, use PPS disposable paint cups with 190 or 200µ filters.
For all other paint brands, Cromax, Standox, Spies Hecker, Ixell, Ppg, Nexa Autocolor, Max Meyer, Sikkens, Lechler, Lesonal, use PPS disposable paint cups with 125µ filters.

How to use PPS disposable paint cups and by whom?
Here are some best practices for optimal use of PPS disposable paint cups:
- Place the disposable paint cup in the rigid holder.
- Mix the preparation directly in the 3M™ disposable paint cup. The closed paint system with holder frees you from pre-filtering and pre-mixing the preparation. Indeed, this can be done using this all-in-one device.
- Close the holder using a quarter-turn locking system. Simply:
- Cover the holder with the lid by pressing on it.
- Adjust the integrated washer with the opening.
- Push down with a quarter turn to lock the holder.
- Choose the adapter that matches your spray gun and connect it properly.
- Attach the adapter to the holder lid and push it down until it locks.
- Connect the spraying system to an air supply source to spray freely in all directions. This is possible because it is a closed system.
